For easy referencing later, the trick is STS (Self Tying Shoelace) by Jay Noblezada - can we have that in the thread title?

It's being marketed by Penguin and is on their American site for $19.95, but not yet on Penguin Europe.

I picked it up in Tannens, NY, on a recent trip and, yeah, looks good! Comes with instructions, dvd and a special something, as they say.

Not tried it yet, mind.
