I saw something on a david blaine show where he just holds the cards in his one hand and a card just pops of the top into his other hand. Has anyone got any hints   or does anyone know where i can learn it.

Thanks in Advance

I think the one you are talking about is the "Rising Card Deck" from Royal Magic. Check out http://media.penguinmagic.com/movies/products/4009a.wmv
If this looks like the one your talking about then you should ask your local dealer about it. Hope this helps!

No that is not it, i think it is some sort of sleight of hand, in a programme i was watching it had im just holding a deck of cards in his hand and he was making a card off the top of the pack jump into his other hand.

Did the card jumped all by itself or was it just a cool move?

I think he is talking about the one where Blaine is like all you can see is a reflection. I forget what the move is called. But it is sleight of hand just looks really cool.

yes its a trick where he gets the card to apparently change in mid air.(DL) The move he does shoots the top card from the deck into the other hand. There are ways of doing this, try searching card shooting, you could even find some resources on the internet.

The move was created by Paul Harris. I'm not sure what he called it, though.

You may not know as you are new but advertising rival forums and exposure sites are not a good idea

No it is not any of them- i will explain it- he holds the deck face down in his hand in mechanics grip nd the top card jumps of the top of the deck into his other hand.

I think from the effect you are explaining, they have a technique on penguin that you could use to this end

long distance spinner

Is it not reply (or reset) by Paul Harris. The card flips sideways in a 180 spin?

Cheers,

its on the programme street magic...the one where he levitates...is it called mystifier?

he pings a card from the left hand to the right and back again...the card spins like a skateboard does in a kickflip or heelflip move...

i think its just a knacky thing that takes lots of practice....

It is very simlar to an instant replay move from the top of the deck...i cant remember the name of the guy who invented that move though...

harris maybe? really im just guessing...
