While in blackpool I saw an amazing routine using cinese coins. Anyone who went to the closeup on the friday at blackpool magic convention 2006 would have seen it performed. It is a brilliant trick. Unfortunately it was way out of my price range. I was thinking of getting electric chairs but now, seeing as i am not, I am getting Chinese Miser's Dream. The problem is this: I have found a place that sells it on the net but itdescribes a different routine you can do with the coins. Seeing as though I only just found out the name of the trick I am a little uncertain and cant possibly spend that much money to get something different. Is this the one I saw in blackpool or not? Please help.
Here are the two descriptions:
The description from the link

"Here's just one of the many effects possible with this incredible set of gaffed coins: The magician clearly displays two large (2 1/4" in diameter) coins in his hand, places one into his jacket pocket and closes his hand around the remaining coin. When he opens his hand, there are three coins inside instead of just one! Again one coin is clearly placed into his pocket and the other closed around the remaining coins. When he opens his hand again, now there are four coins instead of just two!
Includes two sets (2 1/4" in diameter and 1 5/16" in diameter) of six specially crafted chinese "coins," plastic holders and instructions.
This effect appears on Volume Two of Henry's 'Something More Than An Illusion' DVD series.
Difficulty level 1 (Basic sleights/self working) AND Difficulty level 2 (Intermediate sleights)"
The trick I saw in blackpool called Chinese Misers Dream:
"The trick starts with two chinese coins in your hand. You explain the principal of less is more. You say you shall show what you mean. You take one of the two coins and put it in your pocket you open your hand to show 3 coins. You repeat this and open your hand to show four coins. Next you take out to jokers. Show them back and front, then a large chinese coin falls from between them. You produce 3 more large coins this way then show them back and front."
Please help. Cheers:D
