Whilst browisng the interweb thingy the other day, I came accross a magic course being offered by International MAgic (I think) up in London. This comprised of on evening a week for a few weeks, teaching from the basics up.

This got me thinking (which doesnt happen that much these days) - Living on the other side of the world from London (well Cardiff anyways) if there was anyone intrested in:

a> Running a course (preferably a pro-magician), and if so how much
and
b> Is there anyone in the South Wales area intrested in attending if it ever came to be.

I know I'd love for someone to show me how to do things correct.

Hi Rdw1971,

I am from Cardiff also, now living in Birmingham and I am one person who would relish the idea of being taught/mentored by a pro magician.

I have looked into magic clubs and societies in my area, but most places like this require you to do an audition to gain entry, and unless you already know someone in the club to introduce you, I feel it would be very daunting turning up in the first place.

So it is book reading and DVD watching for me. Unless any Brummies want to help me out that is.
