He doesn't blatantly expose the method. Beyond that, he has no reason to take the video down.

I don't mean to cause offence, obviously, just merely stating that if a complete amateur like myself can figure it out through this video then a layman who's wondering around the forum looking for freebies could figure it out too. It's just something to think about.

As for figuring out Criss Angel's trick; your nearly 800 posts leads me to believe you're possibly not an amateur like myself, and so figuring out a CA trick isn't too difficult for you. Non-magicians are still baffled by his work. But when a non-magician can figure out a trick through a video like this one; well I suppose it shouldn't be allowed to happen.

This is just an on-going argument but I'm just saying, when you post a trick watch the video back yourself over and over and over again to make sure NOTHING suspect can be seen by the audience.

I appreciate the kind words - but I'm hardly more advanced than anyone else on these forums. Being totally honest, I don't know how a great deal of Angel's effects work. I'm sure if I had more exposure to the grander-scale illusions, I would - but I don't. My reference to Criss Angel was just an example. No matter how much you refine a video, someone somewhere will know how you did it.

look at the elmsley count. It's a move that is entirely invisible to a layman. To a magician, even perfectly executed elmsleys' are instantly noticeable. I agree that people should work to fine tune their effects - but unless the video completely exposes the method, I don't have a problem with it being online.

Performing for Magicians and Lay people are two totally different things. Like Demitri said you can get a move like the elmsley count perfect, a magician would be able to spot you have done a move but to lay people they will just see four facedown cards. I suppose I gave horrible comments on that Coin in can effect because I know how its done. But to a lay person under the right conditions this effect is a true miracle.

If you thought of this yourself, congratulations on your creative thinking, but Wayne will teach you exactly how to perform this effect and perform it well.

In comparison to Wayne Houchin's 'Sinful' your take is nowhere near as visual or baffling.

Firstly, your handling is poor. Its is blatantly obvious how your method is done.

If you really want to perform a coin into can effect I strongly suggest you purchase 'Sinful' and learn this effect properly.

Sorry to sound harsh, but in my opinion your version is weak and could lead to exposure of ‘Sinful’.

Its better, but get the DVD. It gives you a lot of little subtilties, and how to shake the can properly so the coin can be heard

After watching the trick, once on Ellusion and once on here, I now know how it is done (to a certain extent, I dont know where the coin goes). I wouldn't have known though just by watching yours. Pretty good though, keep up the good work.
