Table Top Control

Postby Mark Smith » Apr 12th, '06, 15:39

Hey guys,

Nothing special here I'm afraid! Its just my direct card control from the middle to top of the deck.
Works better at slower speeds and with a bit of misdirection, but was trying to keep the file size down! I've had no luck uploading videos in the past, so this was a bit of an experiement. If it finally works I'll upload some tricks too!

Sorry to upload it here, but could not get it uploaded onto Putfile as hard as I tried!

Mark

very well done... the downside is that its an "angly" move but from this angle it looks great

 Hahaha, yeh I know, but its ideal if you're seated. If its done on an offbeat, when no one thinks your doing anything but replacing the card, it works well.
Thanks for your compliment though!

Credits for what? Sorry, I'm not very bright!

Edit: Oh, credit for where I got the move? I don't know if its a move by anyone in particular, its just one I've been using lately as I practiced a sleight. I'm not going to claim it as mine because, quite frankly, its a bit crappy!

Thanks, its not a hugely complex bit of sleight of hand! But its got a certain rentension of vision to it which helps. With a bit of patter it would have been a whole lot more convincing, maybe I'll do that.

Mark you claim it as your own in your opening post. 'Its just my direct card control from the middle to top of the deck. '

If it's a sequence you're using to practice a sleight, then why not add a note letting people know who's sleight it is and where it was published?

Well, yes it is my card control in as much as I use it and I devoloped it after practicing the sleight. I don't know who's sleight it is, its a Lateral Palm, which I've heard about and tried working on. Its because I haven't read about it that I'm practicing it on here, to make sure that I'm using it correctly. I have heard that it is a favourite of Lennart Green, so maybe that's an avenue of investigation. Apologies that I could not be more specific.

I think that that is probably a Lennart Green move.

Well done, and brilliant Lateral palm!

Hey

Very smooth, well done.

For the people who were wondering what the slight is called it's an 'invisbel pass' and it is taught in the Ninja 1 Vidio, by Brad Christian at ellusionist.com.

Hope i could help.
