The Effect

The magician displays a cigarette and says he is trying to break the habit. He proceeds to break the cigarette into several pieces and drops them into his hand. A little magical gesture and the hand is opened to reveal a perfectly restored cigarette. Next, the filter is torn off the cigarette. Visually it appears back on the cigarette! Must see to believe, it looks like real magic!

A nice little gimmick which comes with a small manual, and a mini-CD with both MPEG and WMV files on.

The video includes demo, handling instructions and information on maintaining the gimmick.

As with most magic tricks - the surprise I get is in the relative simplicity of the method / gimmicks etc provided, and the affect it has on the specs.

Its good that there are instructions on how to maintain the gimmick as it will get dirty with use.


Overall
A good trick, which will require some practice to make it look smooth and convincing, but it is a lot of money which affects the overall score.

But £32.99????
Much as I love Alakazam (it's a deep, everlasting love), shop around people. Mine was less than £20 and a quick google reveals a few places selling them for that.

Are these chaeper ones the same version, or 'copies'?

No they are the same! (e.g. www.jbtv.co.uk) trust me this is not an expensive trick to purchase wholesale and the £32.00 is just plain silly!

Well bu**er me. Could've bought 2 from them.
