Bizarre: The Surreal Sorcery of Tony 'Doc' Shiels

£15 - within a week of delivery

More than a mere book ladies and gentlemen, purported to be bound by human skin, ink of the very best sasquatch and written by the devious Doc himself!

That's not what's written on the site...

Well, i've a firm fan of flim-flam and flattery, devious demonstrations of the damned and an interest in the irregular....

This book is a little like M.R. James and David Devant being slowly roasted over the Devil's embers...

There's plenty that's covered - semi autobiographical, part effects, ideas and plots for effects...and above all else some kind of maniacal glee in all the devilry that the Doc reveals...

It does contain how-to's and where-fores, but mainly with this style of magic(k) its the narrative thats the most important...about 80 pages long, the bibliography at the back is probably worth the price of this actual book...

I very much enjoyed it, i'll be using several bits 'n pieces from it - and rather excitingly be ordering from Mr. Breese too - he stocks Jerry Sadowitz books! I've already got Cards on the Table from him....hoorah!
