Didn't know where to post this one, it's a review, but not about a product, well, sort of a revue (this is sounding like a routine)

Anyway, last week, I placed an order with dudethatscoolmagic.co.uk, I ordered a coin unique, a hummer card, a colour deception and a golden key. After a very short time I recieved confirmation of my order, but was informed colour deception was out of stock, but due in and it would follow. The day after, I recieved my order, I was really pleased with the speed of delivery and the quality of the products.

On Saturday, my colour deception arrived, sadly, all was not well in magicland. The instructions were of a poor quality photocopy, the 'chips' were pitted and tarnished, in fact to be honest, they looked like they'd been bought from a charity shop, also, the 'bit' that takes them apart was missing.

I emailed dudethatscoolmagic with my problems and enclosed a photo of the tarnished/pitted chips. I quickly recieved an email from 'Mike', apologising and explaining that as his stock hadn't arrived, he had called on a favour from another supplier who had sent out my 'colour deception' after speaking to this 'other supplier' he told me they had informed him that it was 'slightly shop soiled' (oh dear!) Anyway, as a result of this, Mike said he would either send me another one next week when his stocks come in, OR I could choose another item from their site up to the value of £20.00 which to be honest I think was more than fair. I emailed him back saying that i actually had my eye on 'pk factor' which was £3.00 over the limit he gave me but i was prepared to pay the difference. A very fast returned email said he would be delighted to send me 'pk factor' at no extra charge and again apologised for my trouble.

Being a pub, we do have brasses, and we use a commercial quality brass cleaner, a good rub with that and I've managed to remove most of the marks on the 'colour decepton' so overall I'm very happy.

So, full marks to 'dudethatscoolmagic' for their level of customer service and the efficiency with which my problems were sorted, as a result, i will use him again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Being a pub, I know only too well that in todays market, many people are selling a similar product at a similar price, it is therefore the level of service that makes one stand out above others. I feel on this occasion that 'dudes' did just that! So many thanks to Mike.

Good post. I've received terrible service from a DIFFERENT but well-known supplier so it's nice to see the good guys getting mentioned.

I too have had excellent service from this supplier.
