i got one now, kinda wish i hadnt now...

its quite nicely made, but far bigger than i thought it would of been (matron) - it works, and is very victorian in that nature of things...

only cost me twenty quid, so its not too bad, quite nice to have it as an object i suppose...but i am tempted to take it apart, and make a small version...

Abraxus,

I'm not looking for exposure here, but is it something that can be taken apart and made smaller without ruining it? Or, are you just that good with tools??

I agree that it looks like a cool prop/effect, but if it's too big, that would certainly put a damper on my desire to buy.

its roughly the same size as a sheet of A4...

im taking it apart, seeing exactly what's what and then looking into how to scale it all down and made..with new material and look and feel...

its good in a replica-victoriana kinda way, but looks far too new and the set up doesnt make visual sense to me...

but my way would...
