House Of Magic

Postby Andyb » May 4th, '06, 14:15

Hi all,

Just felt that I had to let everyone know about my experience yesterday.
Following my request for a "Bricks and Mortar" Magic Shop I was sent a useful list of local shops.
I made it my mission to go yesterday and pick up some new effects, cards etc.....
I went to the House of Magic in Stourbridge and met John (i think that was his name!) My memory is terrible though!!
I had a thoroughly pleasant experince and was able to talk through what I wanted as well as pick his brains as to other effects that may be suitable - he was brilliant!!! There was no hard sell and everything was demonstarted and, where I bought them, explained. I spent a good two hours and one coffee enjoying the banter and picking up tips. If anyone is looking for a great shop with plenty of choice in an informal atmosphere - go to Stourbridge!!!

Thanks

Andy :?

Second all that. Never actually met John, met Steve though; it really is a great shop.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I've been meaning to get down there recently, however I intensely dislike Stourbridge's train station...too hard for me to navigate :D . That's not the reason though, I've just been quite busy.

I do wish HOM would update their site...it's such a shame because looking at it it appears as if they don't keep up to date with the newest products when they actually do stock a lot of the new stuff. It's one of the only magic shops around my area so I enjoy going to it.
