My first vid - Erdnase Change (with a difference!!)

Postby moonbeam » May 14th, '06, 14:28

Ok here's my first vid - please be gentle when you appraise it

I think everyone has prolly done an Erdnase Change - I dunno if it's been done like this though. Basically I get the first card, change it, then change it back to the original one and then change it to a completely different card

I know the quality of the vid is cr*p - I've only got a cr*ppy web-cam so please only appraise the trick itself and not the quality of the video.

Vid can be found here

Before any says - I've just watched it and yea I know I must keep my fingers closed when I do it again. I may do another one later if I get time

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Very nice, very smooth handling. If I were doing it I wouldn't change it back to the original card as it suggests the method, although it does build up nicely to the final colour change.

Quite good. Although keeping your fingers open did show a bit too much I don't think you should close your fingers unless you can't cover the change any other way - it's always looked a bit too awkward to me. Try doing the change with the card further back in your hand - that should give you more leeway.

Just done a couple more vids 8)

A normal change can be found here
and another change where I swop the card and then swop it for another different one (not back to the original card as in my first vid) can be found here

Any comments (especially nice ones  ) are most welcome, as I'm still not 100% happy with my handling on this yet

EDIT: damn them fingers opening lol - I gotta tape 'em together or make sure that I ........ well I can't say in case I expose something

That's good.

The main comment I have is that I like to make the change a little more visual. That is, it's a good change the way it is but with a bit of a tweak you can make it much more visual - i.e. you can see the card change instead of covering it. Have a look at the way I did it in my "Random Sleights" vid...[yesiknowiflashedthecard] - :).
