A Simple Trick

Postby Scriptorilsky » May 16th, '06, 21:48

Here's a video of me performing a very simple trick. i don't now it's name. You can view or download the video here: http://209.245.59.253/Gimme/36463723/16208227/97552775/A975212B-A54B-4CE2-8AEF-1065795B2E4D/0.775659/2/Trix.avi.
That is if you have time to view some amateur card magic. feel free to post comments.

Warning: the video is raw, unedited (because of my lack of experience on movie editing and the software) and there is no soundtrack. Sorry for that.

This is called Jumping Gemini I believe.

When you drop the cards back, rather than throwing back, just go half way sort of thing and let the cards drop back.

A little awkward and uneasy at the 10's part. When you lift to review the 10, be careful of people on the side and about lifting the cards you're holding too high as people can see from the sides.

Everything else was relatively fine. Just a bit of work here and there to make it all natural and smooth.

I don't seem to understand what you are trying to say here.

I agree a 100% with this comment. I did the 10s reveal very sloppy (in this case it's the eights but it isn't reall visable in the vid cause of the poor quality). It's the hardest part of the trick (to me). And I must say I don't feel very comfortable performing it surrounded at all, and also not too close to the spectator.

Thanks for your comment. I will try to perfect my performance of the trick.

With the dropping the cards back, I would have recorded a video of it for you but my phone was stolen so I don't have any to record with. Otherwise, I'll have to borrow my mother's or father's phone and that'd be a slight problem...

No need to do that :)
I don't want to cause any problems to you and your family :)
