At 15 why are you looking at Freak & Geek material of this kind?
If you want to become more than some guy that does tricks, then set the time aside to LEARN HOW TO DO MAGIC right now, during this stage in your life. DROP THE JUNK! That is, unless you are planning on running away from home and joining the circus/sideshow. I have my doubts of that in that most young people in today's world aren't willing to work that hard. But, it wouldn't hurt you in the least doing such a job for the summer and actually learning how the carney's do it and more important, why.
I don't know of a single "magician" that's known genuine success, that's tried to do everything. Your posts have you jumping from Mentalism to Extreme Card Manipulation, to Carnival Gags and Escapology which means you're learning nothing and getting nowhere. More to the point, you're just curious about how things work vs. learning how to actually do it.
Now, if you honestly want to learn this side of the business I'd find all the footage I could get my hands on about Side Shows and side show performers like Todd Robins, Ward Hall, Bobby Reynolds, Johnny Meah, Jim Rose, etc. Todd in particular, is a great source given his life-long history in working in this medium as a magician & "freak".
I don't want you to think I'm being a jerk, I'm just trying to give you a swift kick into a more focused sense of direction; you simply cannot learn and do it all. I've been in this business since I was 9 years old (1969) and though I'm credited for knowing a heck of a lot, I still don't know anything remotely close to being "all of it" on any one given field. Bear in mind I've only specialized in two primary fields of magic all this time; big illusions and mentalism.
Stop working against yourself and find one area to study for the next six months then move on (unless that area peeks your interest, then stick with it longer).
Best of luck!
