May I add my 2 pennies.....
BUY ONE.

Mine was delivered this week, and I have to say I love it already.
After buying a few not so good effects that don't seem to strong in either effect or quality, it is very nice indeed to receive something where so much thought has gone into both use and build quality.
I don't think I will even use my ID much anymore now.
Such a simple idea, and the looks on people's faces that I have done this for so far have been one's of pure astonishment.

Also the perfect out for, oops lost the break ;)

Jason, if you ever read back here....thanks

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

third degree burn

Postby samdan » Sep 8th, '06, 16:11

This effect sounds amazing. Do you guys/gals who own it think it is easy enough to master for a hobbyist who likes doing tricks for family and friends or is it more of serious type magic person trick? Thanks.

As a hobbyist myself, i would recommend this to anyone! Its easy to do and i find myself carrying it with me instead of a deck of cards occasionally so if someone knows i do magic, or if someone finds out i do, i can do a card trick without the pack of cards! Well worth the price for the reactions in my opinion!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I just ordered one of these from Ebay - I am presuming that it is pocket size - my dilemma is...... What do i decide to take out of my pocket to allow this in?
Can't wait for it to arrive:

- Was lying in bed thinking of suitable ways of using this (Sad but true!) in conjuntion with an ambitious card routine/torn restored with a mini card under watch thrown in!!!!
hmmmmmm!!!! :P

It's arrived!!!

It took me about fifteen/twenty minutes to get used to and some practice on the sofa but now I'm ready!!

Very easy to handle and something a bit different!

A well made gimmick with great instructions/DVD. A killer idea and presented well.

Well, after more than 5 months of putting it off - I finally succumbed and ordered mine today.

If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

You will not be disappointed. Mine came in about a week and a half ago. I tend to dress in a more urban fashion, and wear baggy pants, so there is no issue with the size. As with any worthwhile trick, there is a mnemonic pattern that needs to be memorized, but to anyone who appreciates how fast and impacting this can be, there will be no issue. You will be carrying it with you anywhere. I was having a smoke break with the boss the other day and he mentioned he "heard I do card tricks". ...though I didn't have a deck with me... I figured I'd -try- an experiment. - Wow.

A quick story of success - a couple left the club last weekend due to the wife's extreme religious convictions and patter on the use of flame in pagan ritual. The husband mentioned that was "amazing" as he was tugged along.

I enjoy your work, Palter. Keep it up. :)

Hello all

Thank you for the compliments; I really appreciate them. And ankh, that story of the poor guy being pulled away by his wife just made me laugh! That sort of exit is the type of thing you would see in a sitcom on TV!

If there are any other questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time.

I've just had an e-mail from Jason Palter with the bonus third degree burn stuff but I can't open it due to not having javascript or something or other! Can anyone pass this on in another format please??

Well after playing around with it for a week or two I decided to sell mine on to my cousin - unfortunately it's not for me. I'm not knocking this at all - I gotta say I was more than impressed when I opened the package, although the gimmick was slightly larger than I expected.

My main problem is that I wear jeans 99% of the time and although I'm sure I read earlier that one guy said he didn't find any problems performing this in jeans - I didn't feel too comfortable, so it had to go

Yeah, I had the same concern before I bought it, but I think it was seige who suggested using the waistband! this works ok, but I'm in a suit jacket when performing most of the time so it's no biggie! Cheers to Ankh for the bonus stuff!
