how many of you think that my sinfull video is so bad that I exposed the trick
because on one forum "wont say its stupid name" I got this massege
One more thing Elireo, get that Sinful video OFF the net. You don't want the public knwoing how you did it. You exposed that big time.

Take off Melting point as well!!
Please ask us before posting on a public hosting site!

Thankyou,

Armenikum

Ok it wasnt bad at all, wasnt a great performance either. But not bad by any means, i didnt see that as exposure and i wouldnt worry about what this Armenikum fool has to say, sounded very rude what he said, he is probably just jelous because he couldnt do as god as you can. Just keep practising. One thing i did notice was the guy to your right, would of had a nice view :D Anyway keep it up man!

Yeah I agree. It isn't bad. The only problem I saw was an "awkward" position with your hand. Maybe one or two. This could potentially lead the more 'hip' spectators to seeing how you do it. But I know if you work on that you will get it down and have it perfect.

I watched this a few times and I'm sorry but i've just gotta be honest with you  .
If you've got the Criss Angel DVD, then I suggest you watch it again a few more times and try and follow the routine as it's explained on the DVD. It honestly looks to me that you've just watched the demo vid and kinda sussed out partly how to do it and made up your own routine and to be honest - it doesn't do the trick any justice. I also think that if a layman watched both of your vids a few times, that they'd be able to pick up on a few of the secrets behind the trick, which, at the very least, is a partial exposure of the trick  .
I don't really want to comment on the 2nd vid as you don't hardly go through any of the routines. The way you jerk the can back, kinda gives the game away....... I can't say too much in case I expose something lol
I'm sorry if I appear harsh but I'm being honest with you in as nice a way as possible

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I tend to agree with Moonbeam.

The real benefit of buying the DVD for this and other routines is that you learn the real subtleties of the trick in the minutest detail which when learnt allows you to do the trick some real justice.

I find that so many people, youngsters in particular are far too impatient and want to rush out and perform as soon as they think that they've got the hang of the basics.

It takes time, practice, patience and dedication to master something

im not saying it is a bad video...ill just say that i could use some more practice...keep practicing it until you can do it effortlessly...it not direct exposure to the method by any means, but like moonbeam said, if a lay studied it they could pick up on bits and pieces ("bitsnpieces" ) of the routine...just keep working at it and get it down really really good then post another video of it and you wont have anything to worry about ..

I agree with the past 3 comments.

On the first video you look and fiddle with something for a moment. This really spoils the illusion. You seem to have alot of trouble opening the can too.

I don't have the dvd either; I've worked out to an extent how to do it, but I wouldn't dream of trying to perform it. My effort would not look nearly as good as the proper one. The one Wayne Houchin does on the preview video for this is amazingly convincing, on your video it looks like you are hiding something and your handling is not very smooth. I think you should get the dvd.

Hey there. I don't think it's about whether you should delete the video or not (well I mean in this case, it isn't as if your performance really is giving everything away), but more about your performance itself.

Since you have a video camera, and you know how the trick is supposed to look like, I'm sure you can just keep on making recordings until you make one that is good. This is in reference to other posts which mention some awkward hand gestures. Doing multiple recordings, going back to the ones you did and see where you went wrong or could have done better, and doing it again and again till you get a decent looking version would erase all the problems you face in this video.

Because frankly I don't think the fault lies in you not being familiar with the technique, or lacking confidence; I think it has something more to do with practice maybe, I don't know. Anyway I think it takes a lot of guts to actually record your performances and sharing with everyone, so it's not all that bad. Just practice more, and focus on the whole performance instead of just whether or not you got from point A to point B.

PS. If soda is expensive, then well... Erm keeping practicing till you eliminate all awkwardness in movements before you make a recording.

PPS. Oh and, watch out too for where your eyes look. They tend to signal the audience where to look, so if you are fumbling with something in your hand and you instinctively cast your eyes at them, people will take the cue and also look at your hands, which would just make things worse.

The best thing about having a camera is you can learn from all your recordings! An advantage I don't have... :( *whips out pocket mirror and starts routining*

Just a thought... I think you should try and perfect these effects before showing it. Like me, you tend to want to film effects as soon as you get it. (As with my "TiVo 2.0")

So, yeah... practise more and do it until you can almost fool yourself on camera and then... that's the point of near perfection! :D

P.S. This is quite a formal forum so I don't think calling people stupid is the best... 8)

When I first started practicing this, I just kept practicing right up to the part where you open the can. Then I'd stop and not open the can and then I'd practice the whole routine again. I'd keep this up 'til I was confident that I'd pretty much got it sussed up to the opening of the can. All I needed to do then, was practice the handling at the end, where you open the can - I reckon this made it a lil' easier 'cos I only had to concentrate on the last part of the trick. I reckon I only went through 5 or 6 cans at the very most - maybe even less

The same with me but when I film it infront of the camera I just get so excited that I mess up
