A Hole Lot of Magic

Postby Renato » May 31st, '06, 20:05

Ironically, this is a very short video clip. But the magic's nice, I think. It is my take on the moving hole. Well, my method I guess.

Enjoy!

Well...I don't own Hollow so I wouldn't know. I came up with this method myself but it may well be.

Thanks! :D

As soon as I can get hold of a proper video camera I want to film some longer stuff.

That's the joy of a DV camera and MovieMaker software

Nice one! But how would that hold up to a spectator in close view?

Quite right Dat. I'm just missing the camera! :D.
Costas, thanks for the kind comment. I have done it close-up and my spectators haven't caught anything  :D.

Thanks again all!

"It's not that great because I think I know how it's done". That just about sums up what's wrong with the attitude of some magicians today. Or do you mean that the method was obvious? Anyways, in the times I've done it I haven't been caught, and it does get good reactions.

Oh, and Larry - that's one method I use, but this one was done slightly differently  :D.

then i seriously suggest you stop learning magic, NOW, befor you begin to find the whole thing "not that great".
Magic can still be great even if you know the method, watch for how well someone can do a routine/trick/move, how smoothly, or how prettily they can do it.

Nice work. :D

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.
