0870 Expense

Postby SirRawlins » Jun 3rd, '06, 11:19

Hello Guys,

Been a while since i posted but thought I'd make the time to share this little one with you.

Everyone knows that pain of phoning call centers on premium rate numbers, well here is the solution, if you have an 0800, 0808, 0844, 0845, 0870 or 0871 number for a company you need to phone, simply place it into this site and it will search the database for a NON premium alternative number for the company.

It's an excelent concept, shame about the site, but who cares right?

http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php

Who's going to be the first to place in an 0870 number for a premium rate chat line then? lol

Ta,

Rob

0800 ones are, but I don't think 0808 ones are.

0808 numbers

Postby Gochos The Greek » Jun 5th, '06, 16:03

Tomo 0808 numbers are freephone numbers. They are the new replacement numbers for 0800 numbers. Due to 0800 numbers running out they needed another alternative hence the 0808 number.

I use a 0808 number for my business and customers do not pay a penny.
