Having been disucussing this with EckoZero a few days ago now I thought it might be interesting to find out other people's views on this marvelous show.

So, come on, own up, how many of you lot out there watched this? I know I did and I loved every minute of it. Of late however there hasn't been much happening down by the Creek. So who wants it back? Show your appreciation for this show here!

Jonathon Creek is great :D

I reckon they should bring it back, I used to love trying to solve the crimes... and I liked all his magic tricks too :D

Bring back the Creek!

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I've never watched this show, but it's just gone on my Blockbuster Online list.

The later shows were a bit strained compared to the earlier ones but were still excellent TV. If Alan Davies doesn't want to do any more then perhaps BBC should to a Dr.Who and let him regenerate into another version!

Yes, I agree with all of these comments. Creek was a cracker of a show, even if the later ones were a little iffy...Tomo, I think that you will enjoy it.

And as for regeneration, could anyone but Davies pull it off? :D

I seem to be a bit bonkers about this show at the moment but that's only because I recently re-discovered it through the joys of DVD :D.

Jonathan Creek = aces :)

They were perfectly pitched IMHO - interesting enough, but also funny, but not too funny. And that classic "I've just had an epiphany" look, when someone says something random... "ah, we've run out of cranberry sauce..." {the look...} "Of course! Cranberry sauce! The victim pointed to the door, but what if it wasn't the door, what if it was the turkey shed..." etc

Alan Davies should just give in and admit he will always be JC (Jonathan Creek, that is, not Jesus Christ...). He's on to a winner, and should just do the necessary... another series!

I'd love Creek to be back, i watched everything! i really liked that episode where there was that werid chamber where aparntly the people would just burn away or something like that. You know, where what really happened was they got crushed and the celing went to the floor to look like they just burned up and were now a skeleton. Classy

Oh BBC, Bring Back Creek! Please!

I didn't like it at all personally. The main bloke really annoyed me. My personal favourite Detective show is 'Inspector Morse', the Morse books are just as fantastic as the program. :)

Ahh, but you wouldn't get mental gorillas and murders in nuclear bunkers and all of that in Morse! :D

Loved the show. I would like to see more or even a few repeats again.

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

No, because was a more intelligent sort of detective. He would not have lowered himself to deal with such incidents 8)

Jonathan Creek was not a detective.

He was a magician's consultant.

Touchee. :D.

Was he?

He would have made a good magicians assitant, his ability to annoy would have me distracted long enough for even the most bumbling magician to conjure up a trick!
