well maybe french is compulsery...and I can't be assed with spanish or german...but I always wanted to learn a language myself that I wsn't forced to learn. I can go at my own pace, with as little or lot as I want. So I go a friend to start teaching me Welsh :P

here are some phrases (phonetically spelt):

Bore'Da - hello
Rudder ween boo un - I live in...
Deeoche - Thankyou
da bochkki - goodbye
adoo - yes
naagadoo - no
een - one
dai - 2
tree - 3
pedwar - 4
pimp - 5
quiche ("qu" pronounced as in "qu"ick) - 6
saith - 7
oith - 8
nowe - 9
deeg - 10
een deeg een - 11
een deeg dai - 12
een deeg tree - 13
een deeg pedwar - 14
een deeg pimp - 15
een deeg quiche - 16
een deeg saith - 17
een deeg oith - 18
een deeg nowe - 19
dai deeg - 20

that's all i have so far...but am rather pleased with myself :P

Love

Chris

Well done Chris boy / Very good Chris boy

I was reading the thread and after the first line I was about to say try Welsh.....

I can speak it a bit, but can't spell it for toffees.... I am Welsh buy the way! I learnt it at school and practice it when ever I go to North Wales.

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!
