The Effect
A lot of information in a small book. The book is designed for people getting their first set of sponge balls. It contains all you need to get a start in sponge ball magic.
Starting with background information and moving through slights, accessories (including gimmicks and holders), basic tricks, simple routines, hints and tips, marked items (including multiplying rabbits) and ending on a final thoughts section. This 32 page book is a good starting point. With the book costing £2.69 and a set of normal sponge balls £2.69 http://www.penguinmagic.com/europe/product.php?ID=314 you could have both the book and the balls for just over a fiver,

Review
Another low priced starter item with the basics and just a bit more. The book also gives you a few ideas about how to devise your own tricks and add a personal touch to a routine. I would have liked a few more pictures but in all honesty the descriptions are good enough that pictures are not needed, I just like them.

Overall
I would have to give it a 9 out of 10. Reasons why? Cheep, easy to read, good starting point for sponge ball magic.

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

I have the DVD version of this book which is reasonably cheap and a good starting point for sponge ball magic. I have always wondered whether I should purchase the book to supplement the DVD. As you said it is as cheap as chips, and I have not come across much literature that talks about the sponge ball in great detail. So I guess the next time I purchase another pack of spongies I am going to have to pick this one up.
