hehe yeah your accent may also have something to do with it

as far as I know the cards are ordinary and ungimmicked, as is the door.

Since your hands are not in full view all the time, I believe you're switching cards just before sticking them.

You're spreading something over the surface of the door when "showing" it's ok right before putting the card.

The cards have a bit of iron in it and on the other side of the door there's a friend who puts/takes away a large magnet

Ok all them theorys are wrong, however the 2nd idea you came up with would be a good one, the 3rd one is hilarious, as my 'friend' would have to be very skinny to fit behind that door as theres a wall behind it, you can hear the door bang against it when i show nothing on the door. Let me stress thoe, there is nothing on the cards or door, no sticky substances.
