Hi, probably posting this in the wrong place but I am trying to upload a Avatar and I keep getting this screen

Any advise?

How big it the Avatar file you are trying to upload?

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!

:oops: Ok that is fine and the WxH dimensions are 80 pixles or less?

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!

How do I find that bit out :oops: (I am the sort of person who deletes .dll files to make more room on the hard drive - not so good with PCs)

right click on the image file and go to properties(depending on type) if you hover your mouse over it it should show up then, you will see the dimensions, or just add it to this thread as a test

Yes Sorry it must be no larger than 80x80 pixles, so this is probably your problem, you will have to resize it.

Resize?? Maybe I will just leav my Avatar as it is. It is one of those animated gif files so I am totally lost as to how to resize it so I think this is a good time to except my lack of computer abilities or look for another Avatar. :o

I got it to the right dimentions but the file was a lot larger than 8kb

Cheers for trying I just tried to upload a pic the right size in kb and dpi and it will not let me even upload that. I must be doing something wrong.

I have a new Avatar!!! Not a very good one but I made it and got it to work YAY I need a gold star :lol:
