yeah thanks again everyone who's responded, i been practicing solidly for ages now, always got cards on me so whenever I'm waiting for a bus or something, watchin tv i'll whip out the bikes and try to nail that weave.

I'm gettin there i think, just sometimes half the deck weaves perfectly, then the rest just clump together.

And thanks Stevebo, i'll try what you suggested about the giant fan weave to get the feel.

Good thinking. If you don't master weaving cards normally, you're really gonna have a tough time doing the weaving while doing the shuffle.

My practicing has paid off, i can now weave the cards pretty well, i found that maybe my index finger which separates the two packets (when in position for the weave) was too far down the deck, if you catch my drift.

I found that if i cut the cards leaving my thumb, index and middle finger all at the top corners of the packets, its a lot easier. Another great tip was to hold the cards loosely and let them weave themselves, instead of trying to force them.

Thanks again for all the help chaps ^-^
