I find it hard to see how something that is actually a TT could be any more invisible than a normal TT... I would have thought the answer is: "however good it is, it will not be as good as learning to use a TT properly."

it is NOT invisible. it is simply gimmicked so it can be dumped easier so you are left clean after performance.

the problem most people have using a TT is they focus too much on "proving their hands are empty" and so believe unless the TT is "perfect" it is no good.

the reality is you dont need to show your hands empty, you just need to show your hands "natural". i dont subscribe to the "a yellow TT with pink spots on it is impossible to see if handled well"... that is BS. there needs to be a little similarity and "naturalness" in terms of size and color but it does need to be a clone of your own thumb. act natural and no one will even look at it twice, let alone ask to see you hands.

I remember hearing of one old time magician (can't remember name) who used a bright green TT without anyone ever catching him out. If handled naturally and with good technique, i think this can be achieved. Just stick with a normal TT and practice.

Using a TT is like pulling off a good top-change. SO obvious to the mage, but SO invisible to the spectator. Buy yourself a cheap one, practise, and you'll be smiling from ear to ear each time you use it.

One of the guys at Davenports has one wrapped in red electrical tape to prove that it doesnt matter what it looks like it will always be invisible if handled correctly...

i've only been using a TT for the past 3 months or so, i've done some bits n pieces with it, even right under people's noses...they dont suspect a thing...

have more confidence in your thumb...if you forget your TT is there, so will they...

stick with it though, a TT is superb...

I know what u all guys mean. I have a regular TT and Iam using it. Just browsing around in a magicshop and just saw this strange TT.... Never thought a TT would be 100% "clean". And yes I do know that the spectator dont c the TT when Iam using it.
Just wanted some thoughts to this invisible TT and I grateful I did.

I bought an invisible TT a while back. I didn't even know what it was when I purchased it. I thought since I was able to use a TT for over 20 years and not get caught (except for the first time ) I was excited to see what this invisible TT was all about. Unfortunately when it arrived I realised there was a little bit of a set up required which gave me the impression that it would be a burden to use. And as Bobby said it’s not really invisible at all (it’s probably even more visible when your using it but it’s just apparently easier to dump. Your better off investing your money into getting DVD on TTs like Darwin’s Encyclopaedia which teaches several ideas of how to dispose of a TT.

PAC,

I'll go along with what most are saying, use an ordinary TT. Practice by wearing it when out and about doing your job or shopping or whatever, just get used to the feel of it being there.

If you want the killer silk vanish PM me. I was in a pub recently and a young lad in our group got out this tiny silk and vanished it with the TT, he'd bought it in Spain from a street seller.

He didn't know I was a magician. I asked him for the TT and silk and he handed them over. I then did the vanish and he couldn't believe how I'd done it without the TT. I had, but he hadn't seen it.
