Thanks, and thanks all :)

First meeting went really well, started to get to the possible roots of it all - it's really helping a great deal.

Congrats Cardza and very glad you are working through this! We are all here for you whenever you need us so either post it here or PM any one of us. I too believe I might have a mild case of it, I'll post an example and maybe you can tell me if I do or not.

Right now I am eating Ice Cream with crunchy pieces in it, when I come to one I have to remember where I chewed the other one and place it in the appropraite spot in my mouth . For example, if I chew the piece on the left side of my mouth and then on the right side, I have to chew it in the middle ("insiczor teeth") and all different combinations of that. Now this does not happen with everything, but when I eat something I sometimes (always with Ice Cream) have to base everything into 3 parts for each part of my mouth otherwise I do not feel even and the same thing with some other daily activities where everything has to be based on the number 4 .

Is that OCD?

Good luck with your next visits to the psychiatrist and hope that everything goes well and your friends continue to support you everything single step of the way!

It's always difficult to say...from what I've heard I'm inclined to say probably not - everyone has their little foibles to a certain extent; it only becomes OCD when it's quite life intrusive - see here for example. You have an obsessive thought which drives you to carry out an action to alleviate the anxiety. But you know more about how it is for you, so if it bothers you then there's no harm in seeing a doctor about it.

Thankfully mine isn't all that bad now, I've got some more techniques to help further, so it's all good.

Thanks for the offers of support, means a lot guys :).
