Source of trick ... is it a swami?

Postby byron0512 » Jun 29th, '06, 11:34

I am trying to track down the workings of a trick I am sure many of you know.

Its where the magic guy has someone write on a piece of paper the amount of money in the specs pocket, and the magician accuratly predicts the amount.

I am guessing that the spec retains the piece of paper throughout.

without detailing the exact workings, can you put me onto the right track for sourcing this trick please - it would fit great into my current routine.

Cheers all

It is indeed a swami or nailwriter

Greetings

For the full routine and help on using a nail writer grab a copy of corindas 13 steps to mentalism as this goes into great detail.

You could also try a "Super sharpie"

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Whoa... At first I thought the effect described is where the mentalist gets a spectator to write an amount down, which matches the change in another spectator's pocket.

Now that would be cool...

Or a billet switch and glimpse? Or some kind of sort of an impression device?
