i saw some very nice 1920s playing cards in a tiny little upright box too with two vertical drawers, nice inlays too...shame they had Butlins on the backs of the cards...and thirty five quid...

i was going to offer to play one hand of poker with him for them but thought that a little too snide to ask...the key is rather lovely too, i shall be making it move underneath a brandy glass tonight...

Curiously enough, some of the best known hauntings at Borley Rectory, the most haunted house in Britain, happened in the 1920s and 30s. Perhaps it's the last known artfact...

Also if you wanted to go the bizarre route it could come straight out of a Lovecraft novel (just fill it with tentacles and you're away)

Looking at the title of this post I did have to pluck up some courage to open the thread

I didn't, I was straight in there. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed in your box.

Magician, Married, two children, this is as sexy as my life gets.

Married and THREE children here although the eldest two have grown up and left home. I think that they;ve changed family too - somehow they now seem to be related to the borrowers!
