Prophetic Change - My New Impromptu Quick Trick

Postby magic_evmeister » Jul 7th, '06, 13:18

This is a routine I've compiled from several sleights I've been practicing lately (those more learned of you will spot the straight away) which has been getting good reactions from people for such a quick trick, and it's completely impromptu.

It's a little rushed in performance here and I had to use my Webcam rather than my Dad's superb digital camera that I normally use. However, this is just an example to see what you guys think of the trick.

Here's the link...hope you like it:

Very good trick, but minimal exposure made me figure it out. I'm gonna see if I can re-create it just by watching this video.

Hey

Thats a good effect - however you really need to take more care of you special 'cuts' becuase they were sloppy and there was 'funny bussiness' before each 'special move' which i think the spectaors would pick up on.

However overall a nice effect just try ans tidey up your sleights

Not bad at all Evmeister.
I remember we were talking about this one last night. It's very good.
A few handling issues that spectators might see, but other than that a nice solid opener.

Ideal for when someone says "Show me some magic"

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I tend to rely on misdriection particularly for the last sleight as there's alot to be seen by those who are looking. They look up at me to tell me their card and I spread the deck across a table or whatever is available to show that card is the only one reversed. It's been playing out well with my none-camera oriented speccies. Glad y'all like the effect.

I think the effect is EXCELLENT.

I know you hurried it but the sleights weren't up to your usual standard mate.

Good effort.

Cheers,

Nice idea, but as said before, not up to your usual standard! Don't rush the effect... practice then show us :D.

Make this a tad smoother and you'll have something very nice to work on! Make the KM move flow into another action... That way it will look much more natural and the whole trick will flow better! :)

Your P***es are a bit visible and suspicious. I'm looking forward for an improved performance video, if you will have the patience to practice a bit more :)
