hopping halfs.
multiple coin productions placed in there hand.
breaking a half into two.
jumbo productions.

the humble sponge ball..... ladies love to squeeze your balls.

he he. Pulling with magic... one of the first ways I found to impress the girls...

I'm not sure there are any particular tricks that will impress them... though if there are, someone please tell me! You just want something simple to get them interest; a trick that's very easy to do but involves a lot of patter and looking into their eyes as you talk to them. The tricks, I think, work best when the girl doesn't realize you're using the magic as a pulling technique! So ideally, you see, you want to be doing magic on someone else when they first spot you...this also arouses their interest before you approach!

Just do the magic and talk to them - works a treat. In most cases. Even the smoothest ambitious card routine won't impress if they think you're just after pulling them and aren't interested. But if the girl is interested, then you can move on to a few other tricks, maybe some of the ones you mentioned.

I have heard a few magicians in the past claiming that it's "unethical" (somehow!) to try to pull ladies with magic... I don't really see how. I think it would be rather more unethical not to try!

I do magic for girls all the time. They are always entertained but I can't say it helps me 'pull'... maybe it's just me though lol

As you are a begginner, 'Hi there baby cakes' by paul Harris in his art of astonishment books is a great way of giving your number to someone. The effect is routined around the idea that some magicians use magic to impress the ladies.
Fo a more advanced magician, 'zamiels rose' by derren brown is probably one of the most beautiful effects I've seen. Very difficult though.

Well as I said, I'm not going to run out and perform. I was just curious as to which tricks other people would use. Any chance you have a video of "Zamiels Rose"?

Is it on one of his dvds? I only saw season 3 on trick of the mind on TV and havent seen the other 2 seasons. I'll get them when I get some money

No, its performed and explained on "The Devil's Picturebook", but i would onlyrecommend getting that if you are of an above average level of skill with cards.

You won't find a video demo of Zamiels' Rose.

As for tricks to impress the ladies, I find the following normally get me attention of a rather desirable nature:

1) The Incredible Bulging Lunchbox Illusion

2) The Ambitious Credit Card

3) Card From Wallet

There are more... but I guess you guys will now populate the list

Don't bother. If the only way you can find yourself a girl is showing off with magic, she's not going to hang around for very long anyway - unless you're going to do a trick-a-minute for the rest of your relationship.

I'd bin the magic for a while until you've got those three "effects" mentioned by Tomo down to a fine art. I'll give you another one for free - keep talking about "pulling" and "getting laid" and no amount of devastating, impossible magic is going to encourage any woman to come within a mile of you.

Personally, i'd show them how money will disappear from my wallet and magically turn into their shopping On the real, I'd place my bets on the floating rose and cyril's hershey's kiss
