Thats the proper link. He added a full stop at the end which messed it up.

Personally, I thought that it was poor. It was too fast and it looked like you only learnt how to do it 5 minutes ago. Definately needs a bit of work.

concor, it wasnt very good. looked alot like a trick from Born To Perform, one of the phases of acr but a whole lot worse. it just wasnt performed very well.
practice more.

a real card to mouth is where its folded up, and appears in your mouth. and you dont take it behind your back like you did.

i would post the one i perform, which kicks a##. but its alot better in person, it just wouldnt feel right on a camera. and because its my own version, i will keep it to myself.

Same as all the others. Loose the card behind the back bit as well as the confusing apparently putting it on top of the deck bit and substitute in a very simple move which will make the whole thing a lot clearer. Don't really want to say too much, but it's in Part One Chapter 11 of The Royal Road to Card Magic.

As well as that misdirection doesn't really work very well on camera like that - you could quite clearly see your other hand moving.

I gotta agree with everyone else soz

You don't need to put your arms behind your back, so don't - it just looks unnecessarily suspicious. All you need to do is get them to put their card on "top", perform a DL and stick "their card" in the middle of the deck, etc......

There's a good card to mouth routine in Oz Pearlman's ACR 8)

I know, not very good.

I have now realised that with a subtle backslip, you can make it look much smoother.

thanks for the critisism. I will take it all on board.

Born to perform is a dvd that some people think is a card mans bible and is available from Penguin magic
