Postby tracematt » Jul 27th, '06, 15:03

hi
could anyone pass on to me a good contact for public liability insurance for close up magicians?
i know you can get it through being a member of equity
but 'm after a seperate policy
the only quote i've had so far was for £280 per year
which i though was a bit steep
thanks for your time and help in advance

To be honest - everyone I know that has it has it through Equity. Is theer ny reason why you prefer not to use them? It could easily be the cheapest route...

im insured through arthur doodson, whospecialise in the technical aspect, live events field of work rigging/ cableing/ sound/ lighting and sorts and for £2,000,000 cover and working at arena heights it will cost you £199 of your good english pounds.

So i guess if you call them and tell them what you want to be insured for, im sure youll get a good quote off them.
