original ideas for coin unique

Postby Atomo » Aug 6th, '06, 14:14

although eddie gibson's wonderul coin unique has been with us for some time now, and yes most of us can perform the same effects using knuckle crunching J.B.Bobo methods, i recently dusted mine off, and wondered if anyone out there had any original thoughts on the gimmick.

i was inspired to post this question after reading 'Unique prediction' in Waye Dobsons 'final cut' booklet. this trick involves the spectator choosing from 1p £1 and 50p coins, and the coin unique is used as your prediction of their choice. I think explaining further would constitute a breach of the rules, but im sure many of you will know the method involved.

i am particularly interested in effects which logically explain the necessity of having both £1 & 1p involved, a friend reccommended this website due to the high level of creativity amongst members, so having just joined i thought this would be an interesting topic of discussion.

what miracles do you work with this 'unique' pound and penny?

a one pound and a penny are put in a small flash envelope and a second envelope is shown empty and sealed.
the first envelope is burnt and in a flash the pound falls into the tray, the second envelope is candled and a the shape of a penny is seen in the second envelope.
