Just to resurrect this thread...

Does anyone know anything at all about this effect?

How does it differ from Card through Window (Marvey, I think?)???

If no one answers, I'll buy it and put us all out of our misery.

Thing is, I know how 'Card Through Window' is done, and it's pretty expensive for what it is... but Meeting Point for £26 seems like a better option.

I'm thinking theres too much money to be made in web design... hehe

Deep sigh... got my 'Meeting Point' in the post.

It does exactly what it says in the advert...

I'd actually guessed the method before it arrived, and the dire instructions and questionable handling are really dissapointing.

Verily.

You also need windows which meet a certain criteria.

You also need a bit of set-up time.

It is also preferable to be able to look natural whilst holding a handful of fanned cards against the glass (clue...)

You also need a blind spectator, holding a lemon
(Well, not strictly speaking)

I bought this as market research, really, as I've got a routine of my own, which I was going to look for a publisher for. It uses the aforementioned M5 and a rather special deck of cards. It's the same effect as Meeting Point, and if I could get £26 a throw for it, I'd be a rich man.

I'm still perfecting the method... although the mechanics of it allow it to be constructed via instructions, so an online version could be available on the nothingupmysleeve website.

Plus, my version does the magical 'torn corner' restoration, too!

thought as much... the video demo kinda gave the game away... maybe its just because ive been playing around the last couple of days with my new toy that i worked it out but i suppose to the ordinary people (god im so special.... hehe ) it would be quite effective

Where did you see the video demo for meeting point? I have checked out JB TV and e-magictricks but haven't found it yet

Thanks

Look at the link with an open mind...

If you're thinking of buying this, I think the video itself is possibly the worst advertisment I can think of.
