I'm a bit thick peeps so can some one tell me who I'm suposed to send my list in for aproval and will previous trades be added if worthy.

You need to send to the MODS. It has been done because of all the problems we have had lately.

i totaly agree with the idea makes it more exclusive.

Even though we’ve been trying to do this sort of thing for some time, it was all done in a bit of a rush this afternoon as a result of that daft woman trying to sell scratch cards or something – in 3 different areas of TM. It still isn't fully as we want it to be and the main reason is that Mandrake's brain cell (singular) overheated and had to stop processing data on this subject. All being well, there will be a mass admission of known and trustworthy members but if anyone has something urgent to sell then just PM any Mod with the details.

As has been mentioned, we're at the end of our tether with people just registering to get freebie advertising or trying to flog DVDs, Books, Vids etc. and it takes ages to deal with them and the consequences of such posts so sorry about any inconvenience caused, blame the wallies who take advantage of our sweet and generous nature .

i recon all us regulars are with you on this one mandrake.

its easy to make a mistake i know i have once or twise but it will be worth the extra layer of security to foster good trading etiquete and weed out thoughs pesky iv'e advertised it on e-bay but you can buy it first people.

I'm with you Captain Mandrake, me and the men will have the mutineers bound and ready to be keelhauled!

What'll happen to the current For Sale and Magic Wanted sections? I know that they've been locked but will the posts be moved and those who don't qualify not included, or start afresh or what?

At the moment both sections are locked against new posts but threads should still be readable. We'll probably leave things as they are for a while so if anyone sees something for sale which they'd like to buy, perhaps a PM to the seller would be the best way to go about it. No current plans to move threads into the new area but such thing are always under review and we might be able to move a few. Most are old and probably well out of date so this is a good chance to start afresh.

To a certain extent I very much regret such restrictions but we know other discussion forums have had to do the same thing for similar reasons.

Anyways, if all has worked as intended, all those in the MO section should automatically have access to both new sections. If someone can try this out by clicking as far as New Post and see if they can get in OK it would be much appreciated!
