Hello everyone.

Those of you who are familiar with this trick might help me a bit. Pretty please

So, the trick is easy, I just don't see the proper reason for the spectator to name the position of the remembered card. There should be a reason ... There is none in the book, the instructions are simple: the spectator names the position of the card and you reveal it in a waw! way.

When the spectator names the position it feels like: "Name the position please." "Oh, it was the seventh card." "Jolly ho, let me just count seven cards from the top and here is your card!"

Any idea what should be used as a reason for spectator to name the position and not suspect a thing? Or at least not too much.

Mmmmm, yes, I forgot to mention - the trick is from Vernon's More Inner Secrets.

If the trick really does involve dealing through some number of cards after the number was named it sounds rather fishy to me. If not (you produce the card after the number is named without obviously dealing down) you could take a presentation of Cardza's from the ACR idea he posted in the restricted area - try asking him!

Thanks Kati .... well the problem is that you need the position of the card named and after knowing the position you can deduct where exactly the chosen card is. And here I see the problem - why should a magician ask for the position if then this number is not used nowhere ... I need a reason
