Oh man that reminds me of something that still comes haunting me in my head every time I perform near drunken, or just stupid friends.
It was my female friend's birthday party, and I knew she loves my magic and trusts me so I thought out a nice trick to do on her birthday, the plan was to do an ash revelation routine, but that the revelation will be on her arm and not mine, without she knowing it.
So the party night came, I told her that I want to perform a small trick for her birthday, she loved it, and in a few minutes she came and told me to prepare and that she is going to introduce me, and on the way I "marked" her (I wouldn't say more to not expose the trick) with her thinking I just accidentally rubbed her arm.
So at that point I was over my head that I pulled it off, she introduced me to everyone and said that I'm going to do a magic trick for her.
So there I started, forced the card on her, let her write the card name on a piece of paper, and just when I was pattering about voodoo and birthdays and how they work together, out of no where came another girl I know, drunk like a fly in a wine barrel, smelling of beer and cheap vodka yelling that I'm an attention whore and I have to do my magic even on someone else birthday, and then left to the bathroom, probably to throw up.
At that point it seemed like everyone forgot about the magic including me, so I tried to pull myself together along with the other people, my friend already forgot what the card was luckily some guy remembered it, and I could finish the trick, got the few gasps, but certainly not something you would expect for such a routine.
