Erdnase Diagonal Palm Shift - Vernon Improvement?

Postby Toxin » Aug 24th, '06, 23:16

I am keen to begin practicing the Diagaonal Palm Shift as described by Erdnase in Expert at the Card Table (non annotated). I refer to the palm as described, rather than the bottom/top change.

I have heard however that there is an improvement to the Erdnase method by Vernon which makes palming of the card(s) a bit easier.

Could someone please confirm this?

Thanks

i know that on the vernon revelations dvds Vernon does mention something about it but i cant remember if it makes it easier or not.. best just trying to learn the version from the erdnase book (thats what i did anyways) :)

I don't know Vernon's method, but Erdnase's is brilliant. It would probably take you about a day to learn and a few more hours to master. Erdnase's metheod is not too hard, so if you know it, I wouldn't bother buying something just because it teaches Vernon's method. Just practice.

took me a lot more than a few hours to master and I'm still just "ok" at it

fair enough since we're being pernickity..." ive nowhere near mastered it and I'm just ok at it "

Everyone happy now?

but if i was going to be REALLY pernickity id mention that the word "quite" has a "T" in it :)
