Perpetual motion exists outside of a vacuum --> Einstein was wrong

No? Maybe I'm just not thinking

Until someone replicates and confirms his work, I'm inclined think that it's a bit like a eunuch's memories - full of b*ll*cks

Yeah I'm not convinced at all. I really want it to work, but yeah it's probably garbage. I guess we will just have to wait and see...

Speaking of which, according to New Scientist, that Madonna has been ringing scientific types trying to tell them about a new mystical Kaballah thingy that apparently neutralises radioactive waste. She's definitely going the way of Tom Cruise...

And David Copperfield has discovered the secret of eternal life in a Fountain of Youth... Conveniently located on a chain of islands he owns in the Bahamas.

That won't be too bad for business then!

""I've discovered a true phenomenon," Copperfield told the wire service. "You can take dead leaves, they come in contact with the water, they become full of life again..."

Another one for the funny farm, methinks...

Peptual motion is highly improbibly (out side of 100% vacuume) and if thins guy has made one then well we need to re-write the laws of physics

as for David Copperfeild...i am shocked, this is the type of behaviour i expect from blaine lol

It's been a long time, but wouldn't it violate the second law of thermodynamics? The one about entropy always increasing? And of energy conservation, come to think about it.

Is there a physicist in the house? :)

it would break the second law of thermodynamics yep and the fact that energy can not be created or distroyed just converted, so all in all giant pile of doggy dooo doo

It would be very interesting if it had been done though; we'd have to re-asses a few theories though!

If it were giving off energy, it's mass would get smaller wouldn't it?

I think its more like producing a force, rather than giving off one.
