Between regular decks and trick decks, I'm currently at 145.

I can't speak for anyone else, Misanthropy, but the reason I have this many is I like to collect cards - so if I'm out and I see an interesting or unusual deck, I pick one up. Also, like Tom Hutley is doing, I bought up a ton of Vegas Casino decks just for fun (and they were dirt cheap, too).

I pretty much only use MAYBE 5 of the decks - but they're fun to look at from time to time. :D

Wow some of you guys have alot more then me and some only have about 3 or 4... I take it the ones with only 3 or 4 decks dont do much card magic??? Maybe im wrong and just get too many decks haha but oh well.

And someone posted what to do with old decks. I usually just use them as junk decks for mercury card folding, flourishes, card productions etc... They always come in handy. Plus I make gimmick cards so i always use junk decks for that.

I have maybe 10 good decks (bikes) and probably a dozen or so of the random tat you can buy in Ireland. They are handy for things that trash the card and need alot of practice (Like folding)

I just counted, 35 regular decks, unopened, six black tiger (5 unopened), 12 Masters (11 unopened), and about 10 opened regular decks used for magic. I also have a number of decks in my collection that will not be used for Magic (decks from Spain, Russia, China and Japan) and a number of decks used for effects where cards are destroyed and for playing cards.

Kolisar if you wouldnt mind telling me. How is the Masters deck??? I was thinking about getting one or 2. But I only use Tally ho's now and never bikes. So im a little hesitant toward it. Some say they handle just like Tallys in which case if they did there is no point in me buying a deck of them. Are they worth getting??? Do they laste longer then Tally hos or Bike Ghost deck?? I do like the ace of spades for the masters deck, I will say that much.

I actually use most of my opened decks too :) They're scattered around the house so there's one in almost every room.

I'm weird  :P

Well I should hope to buy loads soon, but just for a tester I bought 10 decks from the Wynn Casino a while back.

Why so many cards?, firstly a collection, everyone has a collection of something.

Secondly, I don't like using cards and have to worry about ruining cards or decks, or even getting short of decks that I have left.

and Thirdly, to brag about it. :P

Casino decks are brilliant for screwing about with, even if they are all from the same casino, decks vary.
Currently I like Wynn's, because they have a nice solid back design which is hard to find in casino's, they are cheap, and good for almost anything.

The bad thing about them, is that like most casino decks, they are clipped and this means you can't do certain card tricks with them.

Currently the cards I'm using at the moment are a deck of burgundy Wynn's for flourishing, and a red deck of broken in Leagues for magic.

I hate to say that I am behind:
18 Regular (Complete decks) 10 of which are unopened
12 Trick decks
umpteen random assorted gaff cards for swapping in and out.
19 Opened and used almost decks!! (MCF practise and again one in every room/coat and bag used for practising sleights lifts etc....)

I also mess up my almost decks with R King to try out ideas!!

My biggest problem is I tend to force the same card combos for torn/restored or clipped so my 'almost' decks end up in the same condition!! My own fault for that one tho!! If only wiregrams were cheaper!!!!!

Tyler: To me they feel better than Tally-Ho's (which I like very much). As for the "Are they worth getting" and "Do they last longer" questions, I only received them earlier this week so I cannot answer yet. To me they seem the same as the Black Tiger deck (handling). I do have to say, like the little ad on the website, they are ready to use right out of the box. Usually I have to break in my Bikes before they are ready to use.

I have only about 20. My porper clip rescues and prolongs the life of my cards :D.

After Ipswich though, I'll have about 50 lol.

Right now, I have:
1 Red Tally Ho fanback
1 Blue Tally Ho fanback
1 Black Bicycle Ridersback
1 Green Bicycle Ridersback
1 Ghost deck
1 Plastic Jack Daniels deck
2 limited edition Jack Daniels deck (larger than poker size)
1 Esquire magazine deck
1 Tally Ho Viper
1 Tally Ho mini
10 Bicycle Vintage decks

These are all my new or opened but little used decks of cards. I have a few decks of opened and roughly used decks.

i have about 20 decks and about 3 gaff decks and about 500 cards just thrown on my bedroom floor(what the missus is not happy about lol ) as a rule i use a new pack of cards as a performane i think it looks a bit more professional if you open a new deck at the start of a performance all the others (the ones on the floor) i just use for inventing my own tricks or styles. About 5 of the decks ill use for practising flourishes and the other 15 ill use for performance. :D

Umm, 12 packs of regular bikes for practicing, 12 of assorted coloured bikes, red deck, yellow deck, 3 Ghost decks, 3 Vipers, about 10 gaffed decks of assorted types, couple of Waddingtons decks and several promo decks from Virgin, Compaq and the like.

Oh, and two of the plastic bikes.
