I've got a bucket of steam, a long weight and some left-handed nails for sale. A must for the discerning apprentice... Never be caught out when sent on an errand again! A snip at only $19.99.

Rope - £5
Strong mates upstairs out of sight - £20
Gullibility of some - Priceless.

For some things there's cash, for others there's MasterCheat.

Not true...
If you have a lad (not have to be strong surprisingly) willing to help you out you can build a very nice counter weight, wire based levitation for no more then 100$-150$ of material and building cost (or if you wish, with 40$ material but with the usage of an editing software).

Right Ive got the perfect levitation all you need is some strong wire and one of those ceiling fan things. now attach the wire to you and to the fan and turn it on full power you will levitate so fast peoples heads will spin just make sure your helper turns it off before you get scalped like a soldier fighting at little big horn.

I should point out that this has been discussed in length somewhere else. I have Mandrake's permission to post this this so here goes. There has been some doubt cast about this effect. So we advise anyone to think very carefully about this effect. Major threads on other sites have been deleted. This simply is not going to happen for this money. To perform a convincing and safe levitation in the style the guy mentions will be very expensive.
