Not a half decent tune amongst them!

There's only one 'hardcore' best theme for a TV series and that's

THE SWEENEY

How many of you remember 9 o'clock on Monday nights back in the 70's?

...and it was the law to sing "THE SWEENEY" along in time to the tune in my house...

"shuuuut iiiit tinkerbell you're nicked..."

i always remember one episode where he gets a new driver, and he's shocked and disgusted with him cos:

a) he was posh
b) he kept the car clean
c) the glove compartment wasn't full of pork pies and mars bars...

If you don't mind me saying, I hated The Professionals. It was so self-consciously trying to be hard and cool.

I bet Gambit from The New Avengers could have had both Bodie and Doyle in a single karate chop!

Agreed - the programme was totally cheesy and I could never take to Mr 'Udson being suddenly in charge of UK Security but the music was great (Tat, tat, taaaa, tat, tat, taaaa, dada da, dararadarada!!)
