This is the nub of the problem. Not only did he advertise the effect he pre-sold it with a promise of delivery at a later date. That's not the action of an average 12 year old kid, more like a seasoned scammer. I believe US Law also prohibits trade by a minor so the 'purchasers' should have known something wasn't right. The fact that people were daft enough to send money before having any real evidence that the item existsed is regrettable but I'll bet they don't make the same mistake again so at least their money has bought them some cold hard lessons in life.Tomo wrote:A 12-year-old kid .....sold it to a few gullible people.
