On the subject of lying.

1) I do not personally know Alex (nor Chris for that matter) and in so claim for cenrtainty that they are lying and are infact using computer generated imaging. I myself have never recieved the "DVD" so I can't say it oesn't exsist. All in all I have no reason to flat out call either one of them cheaters.

2) Because of this I feel it wrong to judge him and call him names. For the Bible tells us that the measure we judge others it will in turn be judged to us. Imagine that you invent a trully fantastic magic trick and you want to share it with the magic commnity (for cash) but as soon as you advertise it, you become the laughing stock of the whole magic world. Other enthusiats mock and ridicule you for your "false" trick. All because they refuse to belief you are capable of creating such a magnificant illusion. Suddenly every attempt to explain yourself is turned against you.

3) Consider $100. is this really that much for the greatest street levitation of all time. john Kennedy is trying to sell his Card Thru Window for 300!! Chris Angel intialy sold his levitation for hundreds!! And his isn't even as high as this one. Think about it - Alex has sold at least 58 copies so for. Pretty impressive I think. Thats already $5,800. He's already becoming an auntrepuner. This I feel is a very safe price to avoide those looky loes and yet still get sales from big fans.

Well i am not religious, so that means nothing to me. Second if i invented a great effect, i WOULD PROVE IT, I would let pros reivew it, i would let semi-pros review it, I would have a decent video, I would work with a reliable store like Waynes. I also wouldnt * people off, argue with people that might be interested. I wouldnt disappear with the heat on, because there would be no heat, why? because i have proved that its real.

100 bucks is alot for something i have no proof exists. 58 copies sold means nothing, since the dvd hasnt even been made yet. Chris could sell his for that much because people could see it in action, and people loved it.

put your money where your mouth is.

Sorry David. But to clarify, I most certainly am not one of his "grupies." I have no relation to him nor have I heard of him before these recent events. I am merely trying to stand up for him as I would hope someone would stand up for me in that situation. :(

Well he wouldnt be in this situation if he:
1. would get a decent video or two (with real people watching them) and not being against the wall, and not taking others videos.
2. would work with a reliable store, and i can name many that would jump at this effect if it were real.
3. would have a pro like Craig, who has worked with levitations before.
4. if he wouldnt be such an ass.

Yes I agree. It would seem smart to get a contract with a major magic distributor such as Ellusionist (Probably not Penguin for obvious reasons). This way he could show us how professional his trick really is. I can see how someone would prefer being a lone distributer of his or her own product, but I think it would benefit Alex being teamed up with a larger power. This is especially true as things aren't going so easy for him right now. :?

I thought that the street levi would have been the perfect levitation, until this thread began and i started to see what was up with his site. I went and bought the elevator and some of his street levitation bits kind of sounds an aweful lot like it actually. I hate to say it like that but he did sell a coin through glass not too long ago which was EXACTLY the same as Kevin Parkers Decent.
In his video where he is by the wall, which levitation is he actually meant to be performing?

I was so confused with this and will stick by david until the DVD is released [when it is, i'd probably buy it] but i e-mailed Oz pearlmen and i still have no reply. Barnabas, have you read the chat log as well, and heard the phone call from Alex? As soon as Oz Pearlmen was mentioned Alex said not to ring him, as their currnelty working togteher and he'll review it soon. Sounds to me like hes trying to cover something up.

Barnabas, you read that he has sold fifty-eight and therefore that MUST mean that he has sold fifty-eight? Now I don't know if he has sold fifty-eight or not, and I think the only way any of us will know either way is when the reviews come in.
