i've just "made" a new trick
howver, i think it's missing something, i can't put my finger on it, but the wow factor is not there.
here it is anyway, and all tips or ideas would be great

the deck is riffled through and the spectator says stop. the card is taken and noted. it is then returned to the top of the deck and it is cut and shuffled. i then turn over the top card and inform the spectator that this is their card, and i will need it to help me later. i turn it back over and place it on the table face down, in my card box or sandwiched between the first spectators hands. i then shuffle and cut the deck once more, and riffle through it a second time. they say stop and i cut the deck at that point. i tell them the card i've just landed on is going to help me figure out what the first spectators card was. i tell them to channel their thoughts to the cards. i then say their card was e.g the king of hearts. which is correct. i then say, but wait, i turn over the top card and it is the second spectators card, which was supossedly in the first persons hand, i tell them to open up there hand, and it's their card in this instance the king of hearts.
