The three shell game is a money maker Ive made about 900 pounds doing this trick alone. the props I use are a black close up pad (esential), vernet shells, and a perfect pea by john cornelius.
Another esential is a book or video. I was taught this trick by my father, it didnt take too long to get the hang of. In order to make any money you need to be good, realy good. you also need a routine and patter, sometimes when performing for very rural african natives, I use bottle tops these are availible everywhere, you just need to dome the tops a bit so the pea will fit underneath without lifting the bottle top.

P.S. I wasnt kidding about the african natives I grew up in south africa.
