I got thinking that most posts on talkmagic seem to be solving problems, reviews etc. All of which are exactly what forums like these are intended for but how about a thread of achievements within the magic field that you have just got the knack of and wish to share.
There is no better feeling than pulling off a move you've been working on for the first time.

So here's my 2 cents or with the currently exchange rate just over 1p:

This morning for the first time I managed to do a one handed shuffle which looked good and quite frankly I am rather chuffed with myself

well done mate.. i cant do it so kudos to you :)

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

i sure i started a "I'm a big ponsey showoff" thread at some point, maybe that was somewhere else.

i hit a 12 packet in the hands cut today, i was reasonably chuffed with that.
i was more chuffed about seeing my work and name in print in magicseen though

I felt rather smug after practicing Garcia's Personal Safe for a few days then feeling like I had it down. Didn't feel so smug when I filmed it and realised it looked as smooth as an arthritic badger.

I'm very chuffed at having a little chat with a Mr Paul Daniels last night and asking him to do a few tricks (with my deck too). as i handed him a deck of bikes he said "ah, a man who does magic", so next time i make up a flyer to promote myself it's including that quote on it! winner!
