Postby Mikey.666 » Sep 26th, '06, 17:00

anyways.. i t got me thinkin, i don't watch criss angel to be honest, is that a real trick he has done and they're making fun of him?
if not, has any magician done something like that or similar?
I'm interested.

as far as I know, a brick wouldn't be plausable...but a bullet is always possible ;)

Yeah, this sounds more plausible!

But apart from that, who here can fit a brick in their mouth?

Yeah, so they do fake bricks, so they wont hurt when they hit you. Theres still the rather important factors of:

- Actually catching the thing in your mouth whilst its travelling rather fast.

- The fact that the spectator who is throwing the brick will have felt the weight of the brick and therefore knows it to be fake.

- Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. See this movie for some hilarious attempts at catching a falling brick with the face. Although the injuries they recieve in the movie are far less severe than the ones a normal person would recieve, but thats why its so funny!

Where there's a will, there's a way :)

Perhaps something can be worked magnetically, or something along those lines.

Perhaps it's best left to a partner, then? Or, on a stage, a projectile contraption like a form of catapult? It shouldn't be too terribly difficult to create one -- calibrating it to shoot as you desire would be the hard part. But, it's possibly doable...

...even if remarkably ridiculous :)

hmmmmm.... maybe...some form of edible material shaped like a brick. u eat it or w.e (very ruff ideas) an then by the use of great hollywood make up and fake limbs etc. you caught your tummy open and pull the brick out?
