Got an email inviting me to a recording of a radio show for national broadcaster, and i think it may be because i put down magician in hobbies field on application form. Anybody have any suggestions of good tricks to do on RADIO? im certain nearly every one of my tricks is visual based...

Perhaps you can actually buy the 'Coin in Soda' trick , the Raven or the Healed and Sealed Soda trick. Perform it infront of your partner and let your partner explain what is actually happening.(These tricks are easy to explain so i think it may work)

Most anything form Psychological Subtlties, a plethora of Anagram and Force techniques come to mind... of course, I'm talking about bits that can be done with people that call in to the radio show... if you go with the whole describing mode...well, that's how Copperfield first made a jet plane vanish... he didn't even need the plane to make it work!

there was a guy in america who did a whole radio series on magic
have asked before on this forum but noone seems to know who I am talking about, one of the tricks talked of was about getting the radio audience to imagine a day trip out and everyone comes back with an elephant! The one I did get to hear on a radio once was the shopping trick, again I do not know how to get a copy, but basicly everyone choses a different amout to put in their wallet, they go shopping as described by the magician and when they come back they all have the same change!
I would suggest looking at 'mathemagic' books for tricks like this.

'This is my card' or if you want a maths trick the 1089 trick. They are both very simple and old tricks, I wont post the methods in the forum but a google search should find them fairly easilly, otherwise send me a PM and I'll help you out.
