My coin in bottle effect

Postby Mooch » Oct 9th, '06, 20:41

Hey,
As promised, here is my version of the coin through bottle effect. I'm really proud of this one :D
In this trick the bottle and coin can both be examined by the spectator before and after the trick, and whilst the coin is inside the bottle. If you wish, the coin bottle can be held by the spectator whilst the coin is inside, opened by them, and the coin removed (presuming it will fit through the top hole). The coin itself can be borrowed from the spectator and signed, then inserted into the bottle. Also, the coin does not have to be able to fit through the top of the bottle, as seen in the video.
Again, I'm sorry about the poor lighting and quality of the videos, I am trying to persuade my dad to get a decent video camera so I can use that rather than my webcam for these videos ;)

As for the videos, there are two here. One is rather quick and just shows the coin penetrating the bottle, and the other is using a signed coin.
Also, I must confess, I kinda messed up in the video of the signed coin version. At first, I show and unsigned coin then "sign" it. The signed coin is then actually from a different year :P
Before anyone asks about that, it's because I already had the coin signed (didn't realise it was permanent marker  ) for when I was practising the trick. So, rather than writing all over another coin in permanent marker, I simply pretended to and showed the signed coin. This has nothing to do with the trick, it's just a rather minor screwup on my behalf.
Anyway, I'm sorry for the length of the post. I think I've got everything in here. If you have any questions or anything, then please don't hesitate to ask :)
Thanks, once again,
Harry.

Thank you! I really am glad that you like these tricks. I'll definately think about marketing it, if people think that they would like it.
Again, comments/advice are appreciated.
Thanks James :)
